Q. What steps do I take if I forget my username or password?
A. Go to any page on Vital Signs Online and try to log in using your best guess at your username and password. If you entered it incorrectly, an error message will appear at the top of the screen with detailed instructions on how to retrieve your missing login information.
Q. I purchased an individual trend but do not see it after I finish the purchase process. How do I access it?
A. Once you have completed your individual trend purchase, go back to the trend page to view the full trend. You will need to log in if you have not already done so. The titles of any individual trends you have purchased will be listed in the order history section of “my account.”
Q. What are my payment options?
A. We accept four types of major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover).
If you need to pay with a check, wire transfer (for international customers only), or Purchase Order (for incorporated organizations), please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
Q. Is ordering online secure?
A. Yes. We take the utmost care with the information that you provide us when placing an order on our website (or through any other means as well). The server that hosts our bookstore encrypts the transmission of all credit card and personal customer information using the Internet-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol.
Q. Can I request a receipt or invoice of my purchase?
A. After you complete the checkout process, log in to your account and go to “my account” on the top menu and select order history.
To print an invoice of your order, click on the order number. You can print this page for your receipt, or you can click the link at the bottom for a printable invoice.
You will also receive confirmation via e-mail that we have received your order. (Please be sure to enter your e-mail address correctly on the order form so that we can be sure to deliver your confirmation to you.)
Q. Is there a discount for bulk subscriptions to Vital Signs Online?
A. Please contact us at email@example.com for any questions related to bulk discounts or institutional site licenses to make VSO available across your organization.
Q. Can I copy and freely distribute PDFs and Excel sheets that I download from Vital Signs Online?
A. PDFs and Excel sheets that are downloaded from our site are intended for individual use only. Customers interested in distributing our materials to students or other organizations or reprinting them in local newspapers or other media are encouraged to review our copyright policy and to complete our reprint request form.
Q. How do I download the data for trend graphs and charts?
A. You must be logged into Vital Signs Online to view and download graphs and charts.
From any trend page, you can click on the “Charts/Data” tab to download the Excel files and images separately. If you want to download all of the charts and files for the trend, click on the green button at the top of the trend that reads “Download Data & Charts.” Please note that this second option will download a zip file containing all of the files.
Q. Do you offer refunds for subscriptions or individual trend purchases?
A. Due to the nature of Vital Signs Online and the ability to download all of the datasets as soon as your purchase is completed we are not able to offer refunds for any Vital Signs Online purchase.
